Woah.

A whole semester went by without me saying nothing! Damn. I must have been really busy. Well its after Christmas and the fall semester is over. Which means no more essays, exams, homework, getting up early. In my opinion the semester went by fairly quickly, faster than i expected it to go. Now lets see what am i going to achieve this break. Hmmm..

  • I'm most likely going to try and read at least 4 books maybe more.
  • Maybe HOPEFULLY find a job. Maybe at Walgreens.
  • Draw most stuff to fulfill my requirements for the portfolio
  • Watch the full season of Xena: Warrior Princess and Vampire Diaries Season 1.
  • Enjoy the break as much as possible :)

Well I really hope you have enjoyed your holiday seasons and let the New Year begin!

Easy Day, Love

So today, I had a pretty easy day. Woke up at 9 A.M for my one class: history. History, of course, dragged on but I tried participating so it would go by faster. My teacher is this big man who jokes about himself and I feel like when he does that he brings up his self-confidence. Is that dumb to say? I think that if you joke about your "imperfections", you let every one know that even though you have this "imperfection", you don't care what they say. I think this makes the person more confident no matter what they look like. They like themselves and they aren't about to change for a group of people. He's such a funny, great man. Even though he laughs at his own jokes, I think he's funny!

But overall I've made maybe 5 friends :) I think that pretty good for the first 3 days at New Paltz. Lets just hope it doesn't stay only 5. The only thing I'm not enjoying is the driving there part. It's not far, but it's a drag to drive there and back everyday.

My lovely boyfriend went to the Met's Home Game today without me because I couldn't go, cause I have  a strict overprotective mother who wouldn't let me go. But it's a good thing I didn't go. I got alot of things done

  1. I FINALLY finished my drawing I've been working on for a month (never really got to it). It's posted on my page.
  2. Printed out stuff I needed for school.
  3. Started to read my book for class.
But of course I wanted to go, but when you can't...you can't

Well I'm out of time, better get to bed so i can wake up for school tomorrow. YAY!

Im outtty! :)

Oh and the Met's lost, by the way.

Lost and Found

"I wear my cute outfit, I picked out just for today--the first day of class. Thinking I won't be walking long in the rain, I wear a dress and a little sweater with no hood. I had straightened my hair this morning by the end of classes, it was a whole big poofy mess on my head. But not the worst part. The fact that I'm a sophomore transfer makes everything a whole lot worse. Not only do I not know anybody, I have to walk alone, sit alone...even talk alone."

That was yesterday. I didn't have time to actually post about my first day of school yesterday so i'm gonna post it today. Hopefully I'll post another one today again after my history class! I have tons of things to do like buy my books/textbooks that are needed for my classes, so hopefully that doesn't take up my whole. Though finding it, I think, will be my biggest challenge. Oh, and parking. Ugh there is like no parking in New Paltz. I'll probably have to find a street and park in front of a driveway. Maybe it wont be a problem :/.

So till next time!
Here listen to this song over and over and over again while I'm gone.

Blood, Broken Bones, and...Shopping?

My day didn't really start early but I think 10 is semi- early for me. Shopping is the only thing i get up for...oh and pancakes--sometimes. School shopping I think is the hardest for anyone--any girl--to actually do. You have to pick the right outfit. One that says "I'm cute to look at but no touchy", "Sophisticated not trashy". Especially when entering a new school, you always want to make a good first impression. Looking fashionably dressed for the first day is good until you get tired of looking "fashionably good" and end up coming in in sweatpants. That's what always happens to me, so i tried to get more clothes for the rest of the week ;). But the only horrid thing I had to deal with is, one certain item of clothing that I love to wear but HATE buying: pants. Gee lets see how many reasons I can come up with for hating the thought of buying pants.

  1. Why do pants always feel tight on my ass behind and so loose on my waist!
  2. Why in some pants I'm a size __ and in other pants I'm like two sizes OVER!
  3. Yes I'm a short lady so why do they need to make only pants for women who are 6 foot! And if they do make jeans for short women, it still LONG!
  4. Skinny jeans: invention to loose blood circulation in their legs.
  5. What is the significance in "ripped jeans" in the fall/winter? So you can see when I've shaven or not! (but i do like em :] )

Besides clothing and stupid pants, I went to the movie theatre. I saw ©The Expendables which wasn't so bad. But it did have blood, guts spilling in the scenes where there was action and fighting...which was basically all of them. I like the old fashion fighting scenes where if a guy was cut or sliced, you would just see the blood on the injury. In this movie in squirted all over. Some fighting included serious broken arms and legs where you could see the bone bend the other way. AUHGHGHRUSLG! Gross! If you want to see what I'm talking about, you should check out this soccer video.

Well that pretty much sums up my day. I'm going to head to bed. Last day I can stay awake till 1 in the morning. Tomorrow I have to sleep early and wake up early on Monday for...school. Yay! Lets hope classes go by nice and smoothly.

P.S. I have my outfit picked out already. It says "I'm ready for classes...to end" :)

Work Sucks..But Then Again

Hmmm worked almost all day today, which ruined my afternoon...lovely. Buy it wasn't all that bad, I like meeting all the people who love to shop in Macy's (that's where I work). Some people act really weird and some just are weird overall. Let's say a shirt cost $10.00 and with tax its a little less than $11. Some women will go to the extent to get as much possible off as they could. One lady today said to me "The sign over there says 100% off". I shook my head, holding in my laughter, and told her that the register told me the price was blah blah blah. I've had customers who go to the extent to lie to me about their life story so they can get more off. OK i mean i get it if you want to save a few bucks there or there, but please no lies or no trying to hassle every dollar off the purchase.

But away from cheap people, some women I've met and talked to, are really nice people. Sometimes people just need someone to talk to and when I'm there, I don't mind just listening to them. Whether it's a comment on the way it fits or looks on her, its nice to talk to people who just want you to acknowledge them. I've had hour long conversations about clothes and has even led to talk about personal lives.

Sometimes, though, work can be a pain in the ass behind. If only I was young again and we could play with those toy cash registers and things were better and easier back then. No required hours of playing with the register. No managers who "managed" your every move. Sigh, those were the days.
Days full of fake money and annoying beeping sounds as your little fingers pushed the numbers on it. Hitting the button that makes the cash drawer come out and getting all excited when seeing all the money, then learning it won't actually work in the stores.

But aside from work, my dad has come over to spend the weekend with me. That was the only thing i was counting the minutes for as the day went by. My daddy doesn't live with me so I get to see him, at the most, once a month, maybe even once in two months. And the best part, he bought me foood! Yes i know, food. Sorry for being excited to receive french fries smothered with delicious rich homemade ketchup. Oh, if you tasted this piece of heaven, you'd probably want more and more till your stomach wouldn't be able to hold it in anymore. Then burst, if you get my drift. "Mamamia Papapia, Baby's got the dia...HEY"! :)

I'm going to end with a quote by Lillian Dickson, "Life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you only spend it once."

Upset with the World Today

Upset doesn't even come close to what I feel right now. The "new" image role models are giving us is kinda pathetic. The media tells us girls (and boys as well) that we need to be skinny and have a cute-button nose with symmetrical eyes. Nice cheek bone structure along with a thin tan face. Eyebrows must be perfectly shaped, no thin-lips allowed, only luscious lips like Angelina Jolie's. Many of these celebrities don't realize that when they do this, young people look upon them and say "I want to be like them", "I want her nose", "All celebrities have done plastic surgery, why can I?'.

Sure, I mean people do have surgeries to help their self-esteem. But everyone should love the way they are.  Beauty on the outside isn't everything. Everyone is unique in their own way. And I know that it's a cliche, but it really is the truth. Believing in yourself can really make you do anything, along with boosting your self confidence. Take this girl for example. Amanda is an anime "geek" who wants to be an actress. She overcomes her fear of being in the public eye and now is on her way of becoming a voice over in movies.
Here's the link to see her episode of MADE  here.

Lady Gaga recently posted a picture of her on her Twitter/ Facebook to what looks like a new nose job. Many claim that Lady Gaga already had a nose job. But in my opinion, it looks like it has had some more work done. Now I don't wanna start any more rumors, for Lady Gaga didnt personally tell me that she got it done. This is purely my opinion and no one is allowed to directly quote me. But you should see for yourself. I'll put the before and after picture.

Before

After
I absolutely love Lady Gaga and I think she's is so gorgeous no matter what craziness she wears. I love her and her music. I'm just sad that she would end up looking like every one else does: a paparazzi barbie doll.

Well..

New Glasses..and a little photo-manipulation
OK. So lets start out with a reason for doing this. Life is an everyday this: 24-7. You either live life to the fullest or you let it go by. Well right now, I'm the girl with nothing exciting happening in her life. She goes through life day by day, doing the same routine. I want to write my life story to let someone see what my life is like. Some posts might be boring but hey thanks for at least trying :)

I have lots of favorite things to do. I mostly read and I love drawing sketching so I'll probably be posting my drawings on here. If you like a lot you can check my page: here. Not many watchers but I'll be happy with the views :)

So I guess this post ends now. Thanks for visiting my page again. Keep checking back for more posts. I'll try posting everyday.
